Answers to Exercises in Ch 11 1. We were hearing his voice in those
days, but now we no longer are hearing it. 2. But the Lord’s disciple was saying a
parable to his brothers. 3. The servants were killing the
children (along) with the disciples. 4. Then on the one hand I was going
down into the house, but now on the other hand I no longer am going down. 5. You all were receiving the bread
from the servants and you all were eating it. 6. On account of the truth the
disciples were dying in those days. 7. This apostle was gathering together
into the church the disciples of the Lord. 8. Now on the one hand we are being
taught by the apostles, but then on the other hand we were teaching the
church. 9. Our Lord was taking away our sins. 10. Then on the one hand they were
going up into the temple, but now on the other hand they no longer are going
up. 11. You all were evil, but (now) you
all are good. 12. You on the one hand are good, but
we on the other hand are evil ones. 13. Then I was in the temple, and the
Lord was teaching me. 14. We are saying to you that we were
in your house. 15. You were throwing them out of the
temple. 16. The men were sending their servants
to me. 17. The Lord was sending messengers to
us. 18. He was in the world but the world
was not seeing him. 19. You were a servant of the evil one,
but now no longer are you a servant. 20. This is the man’s gift, but it is
not good. |
